Things I wish I knew as a Beginner Photographer
Hopefully, you’ll agree with me that most times the things do really worry about are never as bad as we think them to be. That is the summary of my experience as a beginner photographer.
Probably the biggest I had to cope with as a new photographer was that I overthought the sort of pictures my clients would want and I doubted myself. While I was thinking very detail of my photos have to be absolutely perfect before I approach a client or even be confident to accept some money for my works, the truth is many people actually just wants a clear, well lighted picture that shows their face clearly, of which anyone, any photographer with a good knowledge of the exposure triangle can do. To start with, you do not even qualify to be called a beginner photographer in the first place if you do not have the knowledge of the exposure triangle. So, often times I doubted myself for too long and would feel the need to really inform people out of doubt that I’m beginner photographer just to make sure that they are aware and they won’t be overly disappointed in case something goes wrong. In short, the knowledge of the exposure triangle was adequate enough for me to start shooting pictures.
At the start, gears do not matte, so just do your thing. Let’s be honest, many people who are going to approach you would not expect too much from you anyway. So rather than drown yourself in doubts and wallow in fear, rather spring into action and channel
